Perfect Day Birthday Card

Supplies:

Perfect Day paper packet
Circle Around stamp set
Gracious Greetings stamp set
Cocoa ink pad
Spring Blossom Brad Collection

Directions:

1. Start with a standard size Colonial White card. Layer Juniper floral paper on the front (4 x 5 ¼”). Add another piece of Juniper floral paper (4×2 ½”), but this time with the light side up (I just love the dual sided paper – it’s 2 papers in one!) across the center of the card.
2. Add stitching by stamping the stitched stamp in Cocoa ink around the edges of the card. Hint: cover each end with scrap paper to make the stitching not go off the edge of the card since the stamp is longer than the card. This trick is called “Masking.”
3. Distress the edges by rolling and crinkling up the edges of the papers with your fingers. There is no wrong way to do it. Just makes tiny rolls and crinkle or bend the edges.
4. Stamp the saying in Cocoa ink on a piece of Colonial White cardstock. Use the black stubble tool to swipe Cocoa ink on the edges. Mount on Cocoa cardstock and crinkle distress the edges. Add to the top right of the card.
5. Add three ½” squares of cocoa cardstock to the middle left of the card. Add a Juniper brad in the center of each square.
